The Best Way for Holiday Transfer

The Best Way for Holiday Transfer

One person’s idea of the best holiday destinations in the world differs wildly from the others. It all depends, of course, on what you want from a holiday. Whether your idea of fun is lying down for two weeks or hacking through rainforest to discover the indigenous tribe that has never clapped eyes on an outsider.

Some places are so unequivocally brilliant, so indisputably incredible, that it would take an extraordinary effort to not love them. Places that are simply WONDERFUL. So before you reach your holiday destination, your holiday transfer plays a big role in your plans.

What’s the best way to get from your home to your holiday destination? You can use either rideshare or a private vehicle may it be a sedan, crossover or SUV depends on how many people are traveling. Booking with a reputable company like Prime Time Shuttle lets you use their own app to enter your dates and holiday destination and they will definitely find all the options, including private transfers, shared shuttles, minibusses or SUVs. Compare prices, find the deal that suits you best, then book your holiday transfer direct. You can always choose what service you would like to take depending on how many you are and where you will go.

Make the most out of your trip and do not worry about your holiday transfers. You need to focus more on your holiday destination rather than your holiday transfer. You can always go for those. Good luck with your holiday planning!

How to Keep Your Car in Good Shape and Save Money

How to Keep Your Car in Good Shape and Save Money

Keeping your car in good shape can save money. Have you ever observed that some of the vehicles that are older look newer than the ones that were just bought recently or maybe a later model? They were bought in the 2000s but they actually look so vintage that they seem to fall apart? Sometimes it’s not just the age but as well as how you take care of your vehicles but we should also check on how we drive. Driving habits have a lot of effect on how your car will look like. It’s no secret that the price of gas is continually rising and the cost of everything is rising up as well! As a responsible driver, you have two things to consider, how you can take care of your car and how to save. There’s a domino effect that if you make them the least of your concern then, you probably have to reconsider. Here are daily driving tips to help you keep your car in good shape and save money maintenance-wise at the same time.

1. Say no to potholes

These, when deep, cannot only damage the tire and the wheel, but the impact can also have adverse effects on the suspension and steering components. The whole car will benefit from avoiding or slowing down for potholes, as these repetitive impacts tend to loosen various items in the car, creating rattles and squeaks.

2. Smoothness is everything!

By going smoothly the various mechanical parts of the car will not take a hit but actually be able to work as intended, and thus last longer… Plus your passengers will enjoy the ride rather than be being tossed around.

3.You need a guide.

By going smoothly the various mechanical parts of the car will not take a hit but actually be able to work as intended, and thus last longer… Plus your passengers will enjoy the ride rather than be being tossed around.

4. Close the windows (and sunroof, if you’ve got one)

Car designers call it aerodynamics and make lots of effort to reduce the ‘drag’ and make the car as sleek as possible. Anything that makes wind noise as your car goes along is actually making your car more expensive to run. You can’t do much about the design of your car, but you can avoid making it worse by not leaving the windows and sunroof open.

5. Stop idling.

If you’re parked and waiting, turn the engine off. Idling can use a quarter to a half-gallon of fuel per hour; restarting your vehicle, by contrast, only takes about 10 seconds worth of fuel

6. Spend smarter.

To save even more when you’re at the pump, sign up for a credit card that offers cash back on gas purchases.

7. Don’t drive in the rush hour.

The best solution is to not travel during the rush hour. You can also save some fuel by trying to understand what the traffic is doing in front of you, and traveling steadily at a slow speed, rather than accelerating and braking. But if needed to travel since we cannot avoid traveling those times, better use ride share or maybe book a ride. You can book your ride in advance so that you don’t have to go through the hassle of driving in the rush hour. Plus it can give you more savings and comfort more than you think.

Prime Time is Half the cost of a Taxi Service

In a state like New York taking a taxi is an everyday occurrence and a great way to get around town. However, in California the Taxi industry does not have a great reputation for customer service. Taking a taxi in Southern California can be like taking a crap shoot in Vegas. You don’t know what you are going to get. Is the driver going to be courteous? Is the cab going to be clean? Is the fare going to be fair? Am I going to get to my location timely, or am I going to take a tour of the city while the meter keeps rising? Taking a taxi in Southern California just isn’t worth it. PRIME TIME Shuttle is your smart alternative to a taxi. Our drivers are always professional and courteous providing the best customer service in the industry. Our drivers pride themselves in having immaculate vans, you will find our vans in the same condition as you would expect in a limousine. Unlike a taxi, our drivers will never give you the run around in an attempt to raise the fare. The fare is set when you book and it is usually less than half the cost of a taxi. pexels-photo Our drivers will also take the safest and most efficient route possible. Don’t worry about getting picked up late either, a taxi driver gets his fare no matter what time he gets there. Our company has an unprecedented on time guarantee. We are on time or you don’t pay. When it comes down to it, there is no reason to take a taxi in Southern California when you can take a PRIME TIME Shuttle. Next time you are thinking of taking a taxi, stop and book a ride with PRIME TIME Shuttle. Shared Ride A Shared Van is the most economical way to travel to and from the airport. Often half the cost of a taxi, and always a more professional and pleasant experience. Our computer assisted dispatch assures you that those riding with you are traveling to the same part of the city. You will always receive a safe and efficient route to insure a pleasant trip. Primetime_shoot_3-33 Private Van A Private Van is often the best choice with a group of people. You have the van for your exclusive use, meaning direct service with no other passengers except for those in your party. Lugging extra boxes, a trade show display and lots of equipment? Perhaps a couple of surf boards? A Private Van is for you. Offered to all destinations, when available.

Pioneer and Leader in the Airport Transportation

Before there were Uber and Lyft, Prime Time Shuttle pioneered the rideshare transportation service in the greater Los Angeles area starting back in 1984. PRIME TIME SHUTTLE as a leader in the newly emerging ride-share industry. It set the standard, as far as innovation and quality as more and more people discovered this new method to get to and from the airport. In those early years of rideshare, most rideshare shuttle companies focused their attention on the transfer of out-of-town visitors to their hotels. Usually in the downtown area. They avoided picking up passengers from their homes because it was more a complicated form of the business. It was a lot harder to assure that every person would get to their flight on time when they were not being picked up on the “reliable hotel route.”

Rideshare is the Smart Choice

Rideshare is the most economical way to travel to and from any designation is.

It’s service matches you with others going the same way, you travel at a reduced cost by sharing the cost of the trip. If you want the most affordable ride and sharing a ride with others is not an issue then rideshare is the way to go. By having more people using one vehicle, ridesharing reduces each person’s travel costs such as fuel costs, tolls, and the stress of driving. Rideshare is also a more environmentally friendly and sustainable way to travel as sharing journeys reduces air pollution, carbon emissions, traffic congestion on the roads, and the need for parking spaces. Authorities often encourage carpooling, especially during periods of high pollution or high fuel prices. Rideshare is designed to manage urban trips in real time, using the travelers’ smartphones. They make possible to occupy the vehicle’s empty seats on the fly, collecting and delivering passengers along its entire route (and not only at common points of origin and destination). Most of the time there’s an app available for ridesharing. You can get some tips here for ridesharing: Things to Remember For Rideshare Here are some of the many advantages of Rideshare:
  • Less stress commuting to and from work
  • More savings due to sharing commuting costs
  • No need for parking
  • Increases free time for riders
  • Reduces pollution due to auto emissions
There are many pros but there might be cons as well but at the end of the day it’s how you position things and it depends on your needs. This might not be the best choice for you but this is indeed a smart choice. We also have to make sure that we are booking with a reliable company. Do you want to book a rideshare? Why Take an Airport Shuttle?

Even how many times you try to plan out everything, taking the plane sometimes can cause you a lot of stress. There are a lot of possibilities that you will encounter. Travelling to the airport can give you a hectic time involving tight schedules and the typical stressors that come with airline travel. You may experience a delay in your travel plans, making things more complicated. One of the ways you can reduce some of this stress is using the airport shuttle services. Some would find it expensive but actually this would be a lifesaver slash problem solver. Whether traveling for work or for pleasure, there are some good reasons why travelers should consider an airport shuttle

Hassle Free and Always On Time

Going to the airport is really a challenge, with all the things that can cause delay. Experienced airport shuttle drivers know how important it is to get on time at the airport to give you enough ample of time to check in without running towards the check-in booth. They will take care of all the possible hindrances and will always find a way to get rid of them so you can just relax and enjoy your ride going to the airport.

No Need to Deal with The Airport Traffic

Airport shuttle drivers are really experienced when it comes to the airport traffic. They know the best routes and the best way to get there or to go home from the airport. Taking people to the airport and to their homes have been their daily routine. They are likely to be updated too when it comes to detours and road constructions. You can definitely trust them when it comes to the routes. If you are not really familiar driving to and from the airport, this will cause you too much headache that you might even miss your flight.

Economical

Most of the people think that taking the airport shuttle can cost you a lot but when you weigh the time, fuel and parking cost. Many travelers are forced to leave their cars parking at the airport or at any park and fly locations and it will definitely cost you more! This is the most economical way of going to the airport. But why not take a cab? Nah! Airport shuttles are cleaner than the cabs and they really specialized in going to and from the airport.

Better Travel Experience for Families

In our other article, Tips on Travelling with Kids, we have mentioned that you have to book your rides early when traveling with kids. In this way, you get to organize everything. Tips on Travelling with Kids

Travelling with kids need not to be stressful though it might involve alot of planning and forecasting but it could be easier with some guides that we will provide. Travelling with them can create a lot of precious memories and great experiences in their childhood. This can be your best experience in life too! One secret to a better and smooth trip is to really look at the kids’ needs when travelling. You have to find the right time for everything. Balance and organize their activities and don’t forget the time to rest. When they start to get tired or when they got nothing to do, they tend to be cranky and too curious with things that will lead them to do stuff that are unplanned and would end up a mess. Travelling solo, travelling with a partner and travelling with co travellers are somehow different when travelling with kids. It’s more of a mix of everything. There are things that are effective and applicable when travelling alone and travelling with your partner that can be applied when travelling with kids. There are alot of tips on travelling with kids, actually and endless list but we have compiled some of the useful tips that you can use.

1. Take it slow and take time

You might be used to rushing off the airplane and through the airport, making use of all those secret shortcuts, but those days are over. Sit back, let everyone rush around you, and just go with the flow. You’re not in charge anymore – enjoy it.

2. Bring new toys and new books

Something that they have never seen before will hold the attention far more than something that has been played with dozens of times already. The key to this, is to not bring them out to soon. We wait until the meltdown begins and then bring out the big guns. If you bring out the secret weapon too soon, then you have no recourse.

3. Be Flexible when traveling with kids

Avoiding holiday periods when traveling with kids and traveling off-season can yield big savings on flights and accommodation. Even if your kids are in school, consider traveling just outside of major school holiday periods. Give yourself the best chance to capture a cheap flight. Leaving a few days or even weeks before or after your ideal date could mean the difference of hundreds of dollars.

4. Bring one carry on, and only one carry on.

You no longer need a book to read, you no longer need your own snacks. You can no longer use your carry on in place of checking luggage. Once you have filled a bag with the essentials for a long flight, you won’t have the strength to carry anything else, and you will appreciate only having one bag to keep track of in a busy airport.

5. One parent in charge.

Don’t share the burden of any one duty while traveling. Packing for example. One person packs and knows where everything is. Two people pack and no one really knows where anything is. Same with hotels. One person plans them, arranges them, and books them. Do you have that confirmation email or do I? Na-Uh!

6. Book your Rides Early

Having kids can cause you alot of time. Make sure you book your ride early. You can book a private car just for your family instead of a rideshare and look for the most affordable one.  Book early especially watch out for promos and discounts.

Airport Guide For Travellers

Are you planning a trip? Does that involve riding an airplane? They say, you just need to buckle up and the plane goes up up in the wind! Definitely NOT! It’s not that easy. There are alot of rules to follow and there are alot of processes but rest assured when you follow the DO’s and DON’Ts then everything would be smooth. There are Nth number of rules to be followed and we have chosen some of the DO’s and DON’Ts in the airport.

1. Do not pack sharp objects such as knives, scissors, corkscrews or knitting needles in your hand luggage.

Of course they are not allowed for safety purposes so avoid bringing them or you gotta donate them to the airport or worse, they’ll be suspicious and you’ll be up for interrogation. Well, that you don’t want since it will cause all your delays.

2. Do not make comments about carrying weapons or explosives as this may result into an objection to board the aircraft and prosecution.

This is a serious issue and you don’t want to be sued for this or worse, suspect you as a terrorist! This is a BIG NO! This will cause too much panick and delays.

3. Do not overpack your bag(s)

Stop bringing your whole closet. Pack wisely and lightly! Over baggage costs more money than the original allowed baggage. You won’t enjoy carrying alot of baggage. Refer here for some tips in travelling light: Hacks on Travelling Light

4. Make sure you have the correct boarding passes and travel documents to be presented if requested at the security check points and at boarding gates

This is very IMPORTANT! One missing document could cost you your whole travel itinerary. Bring all the necessary documents. Make sure you have the right boarding pass and double check your names on your plane ticket and passport or any valid IDs. Make sure they all match!

5. Inform the Security Officers of your medical conditions, such as a pacemaker that might be affected by the screening process.

Better to let them know before doing something else that might cause any delay or worse, harm on your health. If possible, bring necessary documents that will support your medical condition. Pregnant women, be cautious with these X-ray scanners and secure a travel permit for your doctor.

6. It is best to check-in earlier and have all the necessary travel documents ready prior to Check In

Oh yes! Better be early than late. Arriving on the dot is considered late too. Make sure especially for international passengers to be at the airport 3-4 hours early than your check in. To avoid being late, take the most reliable airport shuttle. Instead of bringing your car and taking some time to park or drive. Book your trip in advance!
